Hotel Merihovi and our restaurants are located in old, historic buildings where the original structures and layouts present some limitations to accessibility. The buildings have several stairs, thresholds and other structural features that cannot be altered.
We have, however, implemented accessibility solutions wherever possible. Accessibility varies between our different facilities, so please find more detailed information below.

Guide and assistance dogs are, of course, welcome in all our facilities free of charge.
• There is one accessible room on the 4th floor of the hotel. The room’s bathroom is equipped with accessibility features.
• The hotel has a small elevator. The door width is 75cm, elevator interior dimensions: width 92cm, length 145cm. The elevator door opens outward.
• There is step-free access from the hotel’s main entrance to the elevator.
• The other hotel rooms have thresholds.
• The bathrooms in the other rooms are not suitable for mobility aids wider than 80 cm and do not have grab rails.
Meeting Rooms and Saunas
• Our meeting rooms are not accessible.
• There are stairs along the routes to the meeting rooms.
• The sauna and shower facilities do not have specific accessibility features.
• The restaurant is located at street level.
• A portable ramp is available for the steps at the entrance.
• The restaurant has an accessible toilet.
• There is step-free access between the hotel reception and Café & Bar Ankkuri via the indoor route. However, the route from the reception to the elevator leading to the hotel rooms is not accessible.
